Navajo Loop is an amazing adventure. You hike through narrow canyon walls graced miraculously with pine trees. How they survive, that is Nature's secret wonder. They add to the magic of this hike. Navajo Loop can be done as an out and back, or as a loop with Queen's Garden or Wall Street. I came up Navajo Loop after hiking down Queen's. In May 2022, Richie and I hiked down Navajo and up Wall Street, but Wall Street was closed on this trip. The switchbacks on this trail are mind-boggling, as can be seen above. They are like a gradual staircase, meandering up the walls to either side. The colors are brilliant! It's an exhilarating hike!
